Professional Life

A graduate of both Upland Country Day School and the Tatnall School, he returned to Upland in 2009 to teach Latin and work as the Director of Secondary School Placement, helping 9th grade graduates find the perfect school fit for life after Upland. In this role, he developed a proprietary system to prepare students for highly competitive private school admissions cycles, including a year-long mentoring process where students learn to interview, write essays, create compelling applications, ask pertinent questions on tours, tell their personal story and showcase their “hook” - their personal Key Point!

Patrick moved into the role of Director of Admissions in 2014, where he took his experience in placement and applied it to the Upland Admissions Office. He has helped hundreds of families find their forever school - whether at Upland or elsewhere - including local preschools, private day schools, parochial schools, public schools and elite Boarding Schools all over the country.

Patrick is currently the Director of Advancement at the Tatnall School in Wilmington, Delaware.
